Jeremy A. Winton

Jeremy Winton, a Western Kentucky native, is a four-time All American Boxer, a former South Eastern United States Kickboxing Association Champion, a former Kentucky and national Kickboxing Champion, and the 2000 NCBA Outstanding Boxer of the Year.

During his college years, Jeremy had the opportunity to work with underprivileged children through Lexington Parks & Recreation. The main focus of the center was to improve academic achievement and to help meet the social, cultural and recreational needs of the participating students and their families. He has since made it his objective to create a better future for anyone he can, when he can.

In 2015, Jeremy became a Kentucky Colonel, was honored to receive the Community Service Award from Kentucky House of Representatives and the Key to the City by Mayor Greg Fischer.

Jeremy believes the overall purpose of his firm mirrors our approach to community service showing our clients that there are positive, life affirming options available and that Winton & Hiestand and its staff are among the people who can help them get there.

Chauncey Hiestand grew up in Crescent Hill, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology and earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law. He is head of the trial and litigation departments at W&H and is recognized by and/or has received: AV Preeminent Rated and honored with the Client Distinction Award and Client Champion Award (Platinum) by Martindale-Hubbell, Best Lawyers (Litigation – Personal Injury and Insurance), rated by Super Lawyers and is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Advocates Forums (Life Member).

According to the Kentucky Trial Court Review, in 2019 Chauncey obtained the highest premises liability verdict in Jefferson County, which also ranks as the 6th highest PL verdict of ALL TIME in KENTUCKY. Chauncey was also honored to receive Leo Weekly Magazine, Readers’ Choice Award for Best Lawyer.

With a love for travel, Chauncey and his wife took their honeymoon around the world visiting California, Fiji, Australia, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Dubai to Washington. They have also explored Alaska, Dominican Republic, China, Hawaii, Italy, Bocas Del Toro and Costa Rica.

In the last four years, the Hiestands have been blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Patricia “Tish” Morris

Tish Morris grew up in the Jefferson County Courthouse as her father is a recently retired Circuit Court Judge. Tish is an “in the trenches” trial attorney who loves fighting for the underdog. Her days are spent taking the fight to the insurance goliaths of this business tackling a 100+ litigation caseload, preparing an array of discovery and attending the respective hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.

With nearly a million dollars in jury verdicts, Tish is also recognized and/or has received: AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forums (Life Member).

Her primary focus, when she is not in the courtroom, is spending time with her two young boys, family, friends and pets.
